Checkbook for Excel uses your spreadsheet to track your checking
account balance, expenditures, withdrawals, and deposits using
an efficient toolbar interface. For fast, no-frills, home accounts
management without a lot of software overhead, this is a well-designed
application. You enter transactions by clicking radio buttons
to denote the type and purpose, entering the data, and entering
the payee or selecting from the drop-down picklist. You'll find
a ledger per workbook page for as many accounts as you wish
to manage, a report form of transactions, a check form for printing,
and a graphical display of your major budget items. WinHelp
is accessible from the Checkbook toolbar, with illustrated details
on all the functions.
